CapExpand was founded by Alexander Beardsley to help UK SMEs access fast, flexible business funding and fairer payment solutions. Having witnessed how businesses were being overcharged on card processing fees and struggled to access funding, Alex built CapExpand on a simple principle: transparent, client-first service.
Starting in Nottinghamshire, Alex personally helped local businesses secure better card machine rates and access merchant cash advances based on their card sales—not their credit scores. Word spread quickly about the broker who actually saved businesses money and got them funded when banks said no.
